USA Gap Year Fairs 2019
The USA Gap Year Fair events are held across the country during January, February and March. They offer students, parents and teachers the opportunity to find out more about Gap Years and the options available.
In just a few years, the USA Gap Year Fairs events have grown from 7 to 40, reflecting the ever-growing popularity of gap years in the United States. Each event begins with a guest speaker, followed by the chance to talk to a selection of gap year providers.
What is a gap year?
A gap, or ‘bridge’, year is a unique time when young people can step off the traditional roller-coaster of ‘school-college-job’ to learn more about themselves and the world. For some it is to take a break from formal education, for others it is a chance to develop skills and experience more of the world.
